Flood Insurance

Who Needs Flood Insurance?

Regardless of where you live in the United States -- whether the desert, a riverless city, by a lake, on the coast, the Midwestern plains or atop a mountain -- your home is a flood risk. Everyone is at risk for flooding. Floods happen in all 50 states.

Since floods can happen to anybody just about anywhere, you probably should consider taking out a flood insurance policy. It's not expensive. If you live in a high-risk flood area and buy a home by taking out a loan backed by a federally insured mortgage, your lender will require that you buy flood insurance.

What happens if I don't tell Call and Associates about my past claims when I am asked?
This is called non-disclosure and affects an insurer's ability to accurately assess your risk or calculate the correct premium. It can lead to a claim being paid only in part, or not paid at all and/or your policy being cancelled.

What are some of the factors which contribute to why I have a different Home and Contents Insurance premium to my friends or neighbours?
Home and Contents Insurance premiums are calculated based on the level of 'risk' the insurance underwriters associate with you and your home and/or contents. So simple factors that differentiate you and someone else contribute to the perception of 'risk'.

Risk is affected by the location of the home, what materials the home is constructed from, the security devices installed at the home, and how the home is occupied. For example, not all insurers treat each suburb the same. The frequency of claims is also considered carefully.

Scheduled types of personal property are: Jewlry, Fine art, collectables, Guns,. This coverage will give the person the braudest coverage possible.

Our underwriting allows us to offer competitive rates.
